Bidding for the Silent Auction will open on March 10th. These items will be on display at the Gala, and you can bid on the items from your smartphone, using the same method as the Online Auction. There will be no need to write your name and bid amount on paper bid sheets; this year Silent Auction bidding will be done electronically. Be sure to bring your phones fully charged!

The Silent Auction also includes two "Buy A Spot" parties - a breakfast and makeover Neiman Marcus for 10, and a luncheon at Congressional Country Club for 20. Once the Silent Auction opens on March 10th, you can buy a spot at a set price to attend these parties. The spots are available on a first come first-come first-serve basis, and once all of the spots have been sold, the item will be closed.

	Tinker Time with Ms. Katie and Ms. Julianna Your child and three (3) friends will travel with Ms. Katie and Ms. Julianna to Upcycle Creative Reuse Center in Alexandria to pick out some amazing recycled materials for the classroom and to take part in Tinker Time where they will create their own unique creations out of a wide variety of materials. The day will finish with lunch in a nearby park with a chance for a round of everyone's favorite game of "Huginator!" Value: Priceless
	Story Hour and More with Ms. Mary and Senora Elizabeth One lucky student and three (3) friends with join Ms. Mary and Senora Elizabeth for an afternoon of games, snacks and stories at CDS. This 1.5 hour fun fiesta will incorporate Spanish with story-based activities! Value: Priceless
	Picnic Playdate with Ms. Jenny and Ms. Carolina Join Ms. Carolina and Ms. Jenny for two (2) hours of play at nearby Clemyjontri playground. The playdate will end with some yummy child friendly refreshments provided by Ms. Carolina and Ms. Jenny. This experience is for up to four (4) kids. Value: Priceless
	Photo Excursion at CDS with Ms. Steph Your child and two (2) other children will join Ms. Steph for a three (3) hour photo excursion at CDS. The children will learn all about using a digital camera and the composition of a photograph. The children will end this fun experience by taking photos of the CDS grounds with a polaroid camera. Ms. Steph is a professional photographer with eight (8) years of experience! Value: Priceless
	Pajama Party with Ms. Day and Ms. Porter Your child and three (3) friends will join Ms. Day and Ms. Porter for a pajama party from 4:00-6:00 pm at CDS for a fun afternoon of making pizza and cookies, playing board games and viewing selected Disney short films. Value: Priceless
	Mother Goose on the Loose Scavenger Hunt at CDS with Mrs. McDonald and Mrs. Hall Your child and three (3) friends are invited to join Mrs. McDonald and Mrs. Hall for two hours of mystery, music and mayhem as they explore the CDS grounds for a scavenger hunt looking for Mother Goose. The children will enjoy a variety of stories as they out-out, sing, craft and cook along the way. Value: Priceless
	Morning Nature Hike with Mrs. Delk and Mrs. Cutler Your child and three (3) friends will join Mrs. Delk and Mrs. Cutler on a spring time hike at Scott's Run. They will walk from the lower parking lot, along the creek and down to the Potomac River. Mrs. Cutler's dog Tucker will join if agreeable! Value: Priceless
	Decorating Cookies and Cupcakes with Ms. Tracie and Ms. Alejandra Your child and up to three (3) friends will join Ms. Tracie and Ms. Alejandra for cookie and cupcake decorating at CDS. Value: Priceless
	Cupcakes and Crafts with Mrs. Cummins and Mrs. Keefe Your child and 3-5 friends will bake and decorate cupcakes and weave potholders using looms and loops with Mrs. Cummins and Mrs. Keefe. Value: Priceless
	Cupcake Fun with Ms. Jen and Ms. Meredith Join Ms. Jen and Ms. Meredith for cupcake decorating and play! We will begin the fun afternoon by reading "If you Give a Cat a Cupcake" by Laura Numeroff. After that, we will decorate cupcakes and then head outside to play. This experience is for four (4) children. Value: Priceless
